The Orthopaedic Nursing Roundtable Course is a one-day interactive course for nurses and health professionals to build on their foundation in orthopaedic care. Learners will apply critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the treatment of orthopaedic patients in the clinical setting, beginning with the challenging topic of pain management. Participants will dive in-depth with evidence-based practices for improved patient outcomes. Learning is enhanced through comprehensive case studies, small group discussions, and even a Jeopardy game activity on the topic of Diagnostic Testing. The learner will improve practice by closing knowledge gaps specific to the topic areas, identify potential complications, relevant assessments and interventions and engage in peer to peer interactions. Round out your orthopaedic education with NAON by participating in a course hosted either at your facility or virtually via zoom.
Attendees earn 7.5 contact hours for their participation.
